Temple + Baptism

Well hello!
I don't have a ton of time to write today, but I want to tell you all about Julian!
First off, we went to the temple with him and Sister Christiansen! He is so bummed that he has to wait almost a year before he's old enough to go inside. He said he felt so peaceful and "twinkly" when we were there. It was adorable! Sister Christiansen was overcome as we were there and has decided to go through the temple and not wait for her husband to come around. The temple is so stunning and I was blown away by the Spirit! I know without a doubt that the temple is the literal house of God. You cannot step on the grounds without feeling that!
On Thursday, Brother Christiansen started getting real weird about Julian's baptism. He called to cancel the catering order Sister Christiansen had placed for a dinner after Julian's baptism. He refused to go on the temple tour with us, and he started telling Sister Christiansen that he didn't understand why Julian even needed to be baptized! It made Julian so sad to not have his Dad's support. We were really worried that at the last minute Brother Christiansen would withdraw consent for Julian's baptism, but he didn't. And let me tell you, Julian's baptism was the most spiritual baptism I have ever been to. The Spirit was so strong that even Julian's dad couldn't hold back the tears in his eyes. After getting changed, Julian bore his testimony about the gospel. That young boy has no doubt that Christ is his savior and this is His church. I'm so proud of him!!
In other news, transfers are this week. I am staying in Wellington to finish training Sister Cohen! I thought I was going to transfer to a new area, so I'm a little surprised. I know I'm going to learn so much during our second transfer together :)
With Easter coming up, I just want to bear my testimony of the Savior. I have no doubt that He lives. I have felt His presence and His power too many times to deny. He is Jesus Christ, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Prince of Peace. I am so grateful for His atoning sacrifice on my behalf. I love Jesus Christ so much and I know that He loves me. He is risen!
I love you all!
Love,
Sister Peterson
